Agricultural museum of Reitscheid

description

brief description:

The farm house in Reitscheid was built in 1862. Since 1990, it is home to an agricultural museum, giving visitors an impression of living and working conditions of the rural population around the 1800s. The clearly structured facade of windows and doors surrounded by natural stone is typical for farm houses in Southwestern Germany. In front of the two-storey building with an underground level are a large courtyard, a garden and expansive meadows.
