Bohnental Loop Trail

pictures

description

brief description:

This loop trail connects the five towns of the Bohnental valley: Scheuern, Neipel, Dorf im Bohnental, Lindscheid and Überroth-Niederhofen. The trail leads through hilly terrain with several inclines and can be rated as being of intermediate difficulty. Panoramic maps and relaxation loungers along the way make the hike all the more pleasant: enjoy beautiful vistas of the picturesque Bohnental valley, the „Schwarzwälder Hochwald“ (not to be confused with the Black Forest, this timber forest is part of the Hunsrück low mountain range), the upper and lower Prims valley, and the hills of Göttelborn and the Saargau.
