The Excelsior in Nancy

description

brief description:

This trendy brasserie style restaurant is situated downtown, in the heart of the area surrounding Nancy Central Station. The 1911 listed building which houses the restaurant was designed by the architects Lucien Weissemburger and Alexandre Mienville. To this very day, the Excelsior is one of the premier eateries in Nancy and highly popular with tourists and locals alike. It draws a crowd morning, noon and night, and since dinner is served until very late, you can expect the brasserie to be busy then as well. Waiters in classic black and white match and underline the ritzy, elegant ambience of the Excelsior, which, with its large dining-hall and high ceiling, is reminiscent of a typical Belle Epoque café.
