brief description: 

the building, which is situated above a historic salt well, is being used as a theatre and culture centre. Auditorium with stage and balcony, several adjoining rooms. The salt well in the basement can be accessed through a trap door. Next to the Salzbrunnenhaus stands another historic building (also with basement), the Salzherrenhaus, which houses the %u201CVHS Sulzbach%u201D adult education centre. Underneath the courtyard is a vaulted passage. On the other side of the square is the municipal library.
