brief description: 

the Nalbach Valley`s landmark, the Litermont Cross, can be seen from afar. It was mounted on a jagged rock ledge in 400 metres height and has wonderful far reaching views across the valley. Numerous tracks and paths with (in parts) steep climbs lead to it.

accessibility

car: 
coming on the A8, take exit no. 12 (Nalbach) and follow the bypass road 269, direction Nalbach. Once you get to Nalbach, Saarwellingerstraße and Hubertusstraße will lead to the center of town. On Hubertusstrasse, turn right onto Düppenweilerstraße, direction Düppenweiler. On the L346, approximately half way between Nalbach and Düppenweiler, turn right onto a dirt road and follow the sign posts indicating ``Litermont, Grauer Stein´´. From the parking lot, follow the sign posts indicating the footpath.

the Dillingen train station is approximately 7 km away, the Saarlouis station 15 km
